Donna Dooher: Professional Chef, TV Personality, Author, Owner Mildred's Temple Kitchen Restaurant

Donna, with over 25 years of professional chef experience, is a well-known name in Canada. A graduate of the culinary program at Ottawa's Algonquin College, she began her apprenticeship with The Ritz III Group there, working her way up to the position of Chef before moving to Toronto in 1983.
As food editor of Wish magazine, Donna authored the best-selling 'Market to Table' cookbook adding to her previous triumph with "Out to Brunch", a book of the most popular Mildred Pierce recipes and the winner of Cuisine Canada's cookbook of the year in 2003. That same year she was awarded the Ontario Hostelry Institute Media and Publishing Award.
Donna is a member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals, Cuisine Canada, Women Chefs and Entrepreneurs, James Beard Institute and is a charter member of Slow Food Canada. She sits on the executive committee of the Canadian Restaurant and Foodservices Association, is co-chair of the George Brown Chef School expansion Capitol Campaign, and a passionate supporter of local food production.

Sharon Caddy: Television Host & Producer—Real Life TV

Sharon Caddy comes from a long broadcasting career which has taken her across Ontario, first as a radio announcer, then on to television where she spent nine years as a weather anchor at CTV.
Today Sharon is now the host and senior producer of “Real Life with Sharon Caddy” a popular weekday program on CTS (Crossroads Television System).
Sharon’s entertainment and lifestyles magazine show, which daily features everything from cooking and recipes, fashion style tips, home decorating advice to health and wellness segments and entertainment stories, is now in entering it’s 4th season.
Sharon’s role as host and producer for Real Life has taken her around the world, and has seen her white-water rafting, flying high on the trapeze and riding the Behemoth at Canada’s Wonderland, among her adventures.
At home, Sharon enjoys a busy life as a mom to two daughters – one a competitive dancer, the other a competitive gymnast.

John Frostad is the President & CEO of Snack Alliance Inc., a privately owned U.S. company based in Hermiston, Oregon and Bristol, Virginia. Snack Alliance Inc. is involved in the manufacture, distribution and marketing of branded and private label snack food products throughout North America and internationally.
From its inception in 1997, Snack Alliance has focused on becoming the leading provider of private label snack foods in North America. Snack Alliance is now the market leader in the private label snack market in the U.S. with customers that include Wal-Mart, Albertson’s and Kroger. This has been accomplished by both acquisitions and organic customer growth.
John became an owner of these companies via a management buy-out in 1995. He and his partners revived a regional Western Canadian food company and restructured it into a focused private label snack food company in the United States. Prior to that time, John spent several years in senior management roles in Canada and internationally with a host of multi-national consumer products companies. These companies included Agri-Link (formerly Curtice Burns Foods), Unilever Canada Limited (Lever Brothers, Lipton and Unox), and General Mills.
John is past Western Regional Chair of the Food and Consumer Products Manufacturers of Canada and is past President of the Canadian Snack Food Association. In 1995, John was the recipient of the “Top 40 Business People in Canada under the age of 40” award and in 1998 successfully competed in the Subaru Canadian Iron Man competition.

Tricia trained as a dietician but evolved her career to include an MBA with a specialty in Internet marketing, which probably explains her love of healthy cooking and marketing. She has spent much of her career building brands for online and offline businesses in the food, beverage, OTC drug, financial and hospitality industries.
Tricia is renowned for her research and problem-solving skills, and she parlayed this strength to launch a variety of products for Berry Health, Boots Healthcare and Wrigley Canada, as well for a number of not-for-profit organizations.
Today Tricia is the Director of Marketing responsible for riceworks®, simplyrice®and a number of other snack products within the Snack Alliance brand portfolio.
In the last few years Tricia has evolved her communications expertise into the online world and has personally trained with online gurus such as Alex Mandossian, Derek Gehl, Jody Colvard, and Matt Bacak, to name a few. Tricia is also co-author of “Hungry to Succeed” an ebook developed for small business marketers.

A life-long advocate for health and wellness, Margaret Wallis-Duffy has established herself as one of Canada’s foremost educators on massage therapy, infant massage and overall wellness achieved through therapeutic touch therapies.
Margaret’s credibility and experience earned her the role as resident health and wellness expert for the Real Life Show on CTS TV. For the program, Margaret produces and hosts informative health and wellness segments for a nationwide audience.
