"I believe that if people know about homelessness - that there are people living without a home - they will want to help."
Hannah Taylor was 8 when she started The Ladybug Foundation to help the homeless. For Hanna, ladybugs are good luck and they are her mascot.
The Ladybug Foundation supports Hannah's efforts to spread awareness and raise funds to assist operating charitable organizations which provide food, shelter, and other needs of the homeless and near homeless in Canada, without judgement, so they can find dignity, security, hope and refuge.
Our goals are to continue to raise awareness and enough money to ease some of the financial burdens and stresses placed upon these charities every month.. There is not one organization that does not struggle to meet the needs of the homeless on an ongoing basis. Therefore our financial goals are limitless.
We all can be kind to our homeless, and like Hannah says, we will try to "love them like family - they need that most of all."
